LAWN RENOVATIONS

About This Service

Our lawn renovation services are designed to bring tired, patchy lawns back to life. Whether you're dealing with bare spots, thinning grass, or poor soil, we use proven methods like grading, overseeding, and soil improvement to build a thicker, healthier lawn from the ground up.

We don’t just throw seed down and hope for the best. Proper prep, soil contact, and the right materials are what actually make a lawn fill in—and that’s where most jobs fall short.

We focus on doing it right the first time so your lawn comes in full, even, and built to last.

Our Fall Lawn Renovation Process

Fall is when lawns are built—not fixed. Cooler temps, warm soil, and less weed pressure make it the best time to establish thick, healthy grass that comes back strong in spring.

1. Reset & Prep
We start by cutting the lawn down and removing excess debris. If needed, we dethatch to break up buildup and open the soil so new seed can actually take.

2. Core Aeration
We pull plugs throughout the lawn to relieve compaction and allow air, water, and nutrients to reach the root zone—this is what makes the difference long term.

3. Overseeding with Premium Blend
In many cases, we pre-germinate seed before application, giving it a head start and helping speed up early establishment compared to standard seeding methods.

4. Soil Improvement
Starter fertilizer is applied to promote strong root development. When needed, we incorporate topdressing to improve soil quality and seed-to-soil contact.

We also apply lime where necessary to help balance soil pH, allowing nutrients to be absorbed more effectively and supporting healthier, thicker growth.

5. Watering & Growth Plan
We guide you on watering and first cuts so the new grass establishes properly. Within a few weeks, you’ll start to see a noticeable difference.

⚠️ Before You Seed

We do offer a basic overseeding option in the spring for minor thinning, but full renovations are best done in the fall when the lawn can handle more aggressive work like dethatching and aeration.

A few important things to know:

  • If pre-emergent has been applied, seed will not establish

  • Heavy weed lawns may need multiple treatments before seeding

  • Proper timing and prep make or break the results

🌱 Need a Full Reseed?

We can also reseed entire sections or full lawn areas—perfect for:

  • New construction or recently built decks/patios

  • Areas that were torn up during projects

  • Steep hills or easily eroded sections

  • Sections of lawn that won’t recover with overseeding

This process includes proper grading, soil prep, and fresh seed to give you a clean slate and a lawn that actually fills in right.
